12 Beauty Must-Haves 2020

What is self-care without a couple of your favorite beauty products for pampering!
As we slowly start to enter the final months of 2020, it's time to share the beauty favs that I have been loving a selected few items recently, especially during pregnancy! Let's get into it!

1. GARNIER SULFATE-FREE CLEANSER/TATCHA DEEP EXFOLIATING CLEANSER/ FARMACY ULTRA GENTLE FACIAL CLEANSER

I have raved about this item for months now but I have been seeing the magic on my skin now that I have dry, sensitive and oily skin. Leave all the harsh chemicals and additives for a clean, lightweight cleanser that can be used for both day and night. I swear by this cleanser and it does the job everytime. On days that I wear makeup, I do the double cleanse method with the Garnier Cleanser, followed by the Tatcha Deep Exfoliating Cleanser. This duo takes off all the make-up, build-up, dirt, and small particles for a fresh clean face. On the days were I want my face to feel extra clean after a long day, I use the Farmacy Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser. This literally makes LOVE to my skin and I am obsessed with the formula in this product.

2. SUMMER FRIDAYS CC SERUM/OLE HENRIKSEN VITAMIN C SERUM

The results I have seen with both of these products are AMAZING. Brightened skin, relief in uneven textures and dark spots. The Summer Fridays CC serum is less of an oily consistency than the Ole Henriksen, so keep that in mind when shopping for your skin type.

3. SUPERGOOP FACIAL SUNSCREEN

Whatever you do, do not put the banana boat brand sunscreen as an everyday facial sunscreen! You're face is so much more delicate than the rest of your body and to take care of it the right way, applying the right amount of SPF of FACIAL sunscreen will do you good! Supergoop has different type of facial sunscreens which I love! For a matte finish, a dewy finish, or just an overall sunscreen base, Supergoop  help so much with this summer heat. Don't forget to apply your sunscreen before make-up ladies!

4. BODY EXFOLIATORS

My goodness, I have never tried a better body exfoliator than the Tree Hut Body Scrub in Mango. Not only does it smell DELICIOUS, but it leaves my skin super soft! You can feel such a difference when all the dead skin cells are off. For the days where I want to relax and wined down, I love the Lavender Salt Scrub Exfoliator from Trader Joes.

5. PALMERS SKIN THERAPY OIL

It's no secret that 2020 is the year for quarantine babies! Even for those who are not expecting a little one, this skin oil great for scars, dry skin, (pregnancy or non-pregnancy) stretch marks, and aging skin. I was using Bio-oil on my body at first but did not see improvements so I use a small amount of that product on my facial scars. The Palmers Skin Therapy Oil has relieved so much of my dry skin, uneven skin tones and I have seen a difference in the firmness of my skin as well.

6. THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE AND GLYCOLIC ACID TONER

The trending skincare line known as the Ordinary blew up on Tik Tok and social media platforms this year... and for very good reasons! I incorporated the niacinamide serum into my morning routine and this helped so much with my hormonal acne and scarring. The glycolic acid toning solution is one of my favorites for my back and arm acne due to all the pregnancy hormones. I use this at night, let it dry and then moisturize!

7. AVEENO UNSCENTED MOISTURIZER/TATCHA WATER CREAM/BLISS COLLAGEN MOISTURIZER

I slept on Aveeno moisturizers for the longest and I regret it so much! I suffered from dry skin for so long until a friend recommended the unscented moisturizer from Aveeno. My skin feels so soft and refreshed after it soaks in. For a facial moisturizer, I love using the Tatcha Water Cream and the Bliss Collagen Moisturizer which also has Vitamin C and peptides for a healthy glow. DON'T FORGET TO MOISTURIZE YOUR NECK!!

8. SKIN FACIAL TOOLS

Facial tools have been a huge help is getting rid of any unwanted oils, pimples, and water retention in the face. I currently use an ultrasonic skin scrubber that helps remove white heads, blackheads and oils from the skin, leaving a polished surface. In the mornings, I use a gua sha that I keep in the fridge overnight. This helps wake up the skin and remove any built up water retention in the cheeks and jaw line. Stay consistent everyday and this can transform your face to have more of a defined neck and jaw line.

9. DRY BRUSH

This is my new way of exfoliating and getting more blood to circulate around my body. About two-three time a week I use my dry brush all over my body. It is not only relaxing, but it has so many benefits! It helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite, removes the dead skin, cleanses your lymphatic system, and helps eliminate toxins! I got mine at a local grocery store for a little over $10 but you can find this on Amazon for a great price!

10. SULFATE-FREE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER - LOVE, BEAUTY AND PLANET

I am currently using the Love, Beauty and Planet Shampoo and Conditioner. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen my stories in which I share my experience! I am LOVING these products as they have naturally derived ingredients, no sulfates, parabens or harsh chemicals that can damage your hair. The results are amazing and I have gotten so many compliments on my hair recently ever since I switched!

11. CLOVE & HALLOW HYALURONIC ACID SERUM

Clove and Hallow is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup/skincare brand I recently discovered and I have incorporated this serum into my skincare routine with absolutely no regrets! I apply this on my days where I want to give my makeup a break and also in my skincare routine before applying makeup. The scent is so gentle and works so well with combination skin. I love the feeling this gives me skin every time and for such an affordable price!

12. CLOVE AND HALLOW MAKEUP MELT

It's no secret that makeup wipes are NOT good for the skin. It causes wrinkles and can make the skin on the face dull faster. With makeup melts, it is an oil based makeup remover that softly 'melts' the makeup off for an easier cleansing routine! The Clove and Hallow Natural Vegan makeup melt sells at $29 and works wonders on my skin! Before rinsing, I add a few pumps of the garnier sulfate-free cleanser I mentioned above and lather the dirt and melted makeup for an intense cleansing sesh.

Let me know if you decide to try any of these products! Absolutely would love to hear your experience with them. Until next time my loves, xx.
