How to Create a Gallery Art Wall

Let's face it, wall decorating is probably the hardest part when moving into a new place.
Antonny and I have slowly been adding wall decor since we moved into our apartment in Summer 2018. Truth is, it takes a while to settle in and figure out what you like! Aside from holiday decorations for Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's also hard finding the right wall decor pieces to fill in all that empty wall space so it will look great year-round. Being a lover of all forms of art, I knew I wanted to have my own gallery art wall in our home. I have had my eye on
If you want to update your wall decor or create a gallery art wall, this blog post is for you!

1. Choose a location for the Gallery Art Wall

I have had this big empty wall space where our dining table sits and we never knew what to hang up. Choosing one of the biggest walls in your home that does not have much already on it can so much potential for a gallery art wall! Also, any wall space that looks like it needs to be filled in can be of great use for a couple prints.

2. Selecting your prints and frames

I already had a rectangular wall art piece in a soft wood color that says "thankful, grateful, blessed" and I wanted to incorporate this into the gallery wall art layout. I have partnered up with

3. Deciding on the layout

When deciding on the art gallery wall layout, you must look to see what will compliment each other. This also means if you will have other decor or furniture pieces around the wall, you want to compliment those as well. With the prints already inserted into the frames, layout all the frames onto the floor, move them around and play with the way they are positioned. If you have more items you want to hang up, now would be the best time to include them in the layout! I also like to draw a sketch after I figure out what layout I like to have a rough draft reference before nailing them up. Once you have decided on a layout, go ahead and hang them up on the wall with the appropriate nails and screws for pictures. You can find these at

If you struggled like me in finding wall decor prints,

5 Tips for Beginner Bloggers & Micro-Influencers

Throughout this whole experience this year, I have learned what mindset I should have in order to start a blog, the approach on brands, and the importance of authenticity.
If you are thinking about starting a blog or have recently launched your blog, these beginner blogger tips are for you.

1. Do NOT start a blog (or any platform) for financial or materialistic gain.

I started my blog and converted my platform as a way of self-expression, not with the intention of any financial or materialistic gain. I knew I eventually wanted to monetize my blog but this was a long-term goal looking ahead in 3-5 years. I have been writing poetry, thoughts and ideas since middle school and never did I think that I would have started a blog. Starting 2019, I began posting things about skincare and beauty and it got such great feedback because others were struggling with the same things. From then on, I knew I wanted to build my platform to start helping people in the daily things I go through as a young adult in my 20's and share bits and pieces of my life to inspire others. Going in with the mindset of making money and focusing on getting free products to show on social media is not a humble approach to start out in the blogger world and believe me, brands will see right through you. Let the collaborations and brands come to you at the right moment!

2. "Finding your Niche"

I have read so many "how to start a blog for beginner bloggers" pages about finding your niche. Some bloggers are strictly fashion, some are beauty, some are lifestyle and some are travel. But what about for those like myself that love all of those? Your blog is exactly that, YOUR blog. You can create content for absolutely anything! I always think to never limit myself to one thing because expanding within that one niche can eventually get full. To give you an idea on expanding, Gabopicasso is about anything and everything fashion, beauty, lifestyle, food, travel, self-care and now blogging tips! Limiting yourself to one of those niche's can feel like you are limited to blog posts. Instead of creating, you are finding yourself looking for blog topics to write and essentially copying other bloggers content, which brings me to number three.

3. Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

I would be lying if I said I never looked at a blogger or influencer and compared myself to them. How they pose in pictures, aesthetic themes and presets, or even how they physically look in comparison to me. Sure,

4. Focus on Creating Real and Authentic Content

Content is such an important aspect that keeps all of your platforms afloat and is crucial prior to any collaborations with brands. Having high-quality and

5. Authentically and Organically Engage with your Audience

I am the type of blogger/micro-influencer that does not care about how many followers I have but unfortunately, it is something that comes along with being a blogger/micro-influencer that I

Be authentic, be yourself and have fun with it! Eventually your blog or platform will become a side hustle but in the mean time, focus on growing as a person and as a blogger. So many benefits come out of starting a blog and one of my favorite ones is becoming a better version of myself, for myself.

Happy Blogging, Babes!

No matter how much clothes I seem to own, styling is always the tricky part. What top goes good with what pants or jeans, what's the style scheme for the OOTD, what style of accessories am I going for and what style of shoe will look right.... so much to think about in just one outfit am I right?!
Us women L-O-V-E purchasing new clothes and going shopping online or in-store, but we never seem to know how to style what we buy. That's why I'm here today! Let's start with the perfect fall colors, types of fabrics and prints to style some of my favorite pieces with you!

The Perfect Fall Sunday

Self-care Sundays is more than just your regular face masks and Netflix during the colder months. I don't know what it is but there is something about Fall that has me at an all time high. Although you can do so many activities during the summer, you can't do some Fall specific activities in the summer without being frowned upon or it is simply just not available. There is magic within each season and it starts with Fall in my opinion! Here are some of my favorite things to do that I make a part of my routine to (pumpkin) spice up my Sundays!

It cannot get more accurate when people say life is a beach. Jump(suits) Into Spring

Mother Nature is starting its course by hitting us with these bipolar cold mornings and the warm afternoons. I always end up wearing a long sleeve on a hot day and a short sleeve on a cold day!!! Jumpsuits have become a love of mine for spring 2019 and are such a great alternative to avoid those same issues and for those "I don't know what to wear" days. They come in so many different styles, prints, colors and material that is flattering on any body type!
When I style clothing, I make comfort my number one priority. There is a time and place for every outfit and I hate the feeling of something too tight, too short, too loose or just not cute in general in the wrong environment. Feeling confident starts with comfort! What I love is that jumpsuits give me that boost of confidence with a whole lot of comfort I need to have a productive day. Jumpsuits keep you looking chic and like you put a lot more effort into your outfit when really, it took less than a minute to throw on (this is great for when you are running late and still want to look bomb). With the chilly mornings and sunny afternoons, styling jumpsuits can be easy and still include those cardigans you have in your closet, a jean jacket or a cute blazer. Here are my favorite jumpsuits for this 2019:
Three different styles with completely different vibes!

The floral print romper is a flowy, off the shoulder jumpsuit is from Wild Fable x Target that also has removable straps. It's so lightweight and made of really good material that sits on the body with no problem. As this is a dressier piece and PERFECT for a Sunday Brunch or date with the girls, I paired it with my
The second piece is my favorite as it is so versatile for its striped pattern and style. Stripes are also in for the spring time! This soft fabric material makes it so easy to wear when it's chilly but shows some skin adding the strapless touch for those warmer days. It is very flattering for my curvy women and my favorite part? IT HAS POCKETS!!!!! Anything with pockets has my heart and makes it a casual and dressy essential for your closet. I paired this with the white heel, my emerald purse from Target and a black sun hat from Forever21. This jumpsuit is sold for about $30 in your well-known retail stores - this is by the Almost Famous brand sold at Boscovs for half the price!
The last look is such a casual vibe, I am OBSESSED. This is such a laid-back and stretchy jumpsuit to run your errands in, meet someone up for some coffee or even to lounge around the house. This is from
